about the reno booze bus
Follow tips 1 through 11 and ride!
What is the Reno Booze Bus?
The Reno Booze Bus is the most interactive, educational, and boisterous Production Brewery & Distillery tour in Northern Nevada. You’ll get to meet the industry pioneers crafting our area’s best brews and spirits, as well as taste some outstanding beverages. It’s not a party bus, but we know you’ll have a great time!
How does this all work?
After purchasing your spot on the Reno Booze Bus, you’ll arrive on your scheduled date and time at the location listed on your reservation. Typically, this will actually be the last stop of the day, so that the bus will be able to drop you off at your vehicle. Each stop will include a tasting or glass of the specialty of the house and a guided tour of the production facilities. There will be time to purchase additional drinks to have there or take home. The total tour will take approximately 4 hours.
Reno Booze Bus has also partnered with Uber, in case you feel you shouldn’t drive home. We want this to be a fun, educational and safe experience for everyone.
I’ve reserved my space on the bus, will the tour still happen if I’m the only rider?
No. In order to keep costs down and to make our tours cost-effective for the breweries and distilleries, we have a minimum ridership of 8 people. If, for some reason, a tour doesn’t have 8 riders 48 hours before the scheduled tour, we will refund your ticket.
Can we drink on the bus?
YES! It is legal to consume alcoholic beverages on the bus. All alcohol must stay on the bus and away from the driver at all times. To be fair to our participating brewers and distillers, no outside alcohol is allowed. Otherwise responsibly drink away.
Can I bring my dog, cat, parakeet or ferret?
Sorry, no. Because we will be touring production facilities, there can be no animals allowed.
I can’t find a babysitter, can I bring my kids along?
No. Everyone on the bus must be at least 21 years old. ID will be checked.
Can I buy alcohol to take home at the breweries or distilleries?
Of course! As a matter of fact, we encourage you to purchase growlers, bottles and other merchandise from our hosts. We have secure storage in back of the bus, so your purchases won’t be in your way.
Can we eat on the bus?
You can bring along light snacks, but excessive messes will incur a cleaning charge. Since we will not be stopping at any brewpubs, we do encourage you to eat a good meal before we head out. Food is not available at the breweries or distilleries.
What happens if my “friend,” um, drinks too much and accidentally vomits on the bus?
BIO-HAZARD OR BODILY FLUID CLEAN-UP is an automatic $300.00 charge per incident, NO EXCEPTIONS and this charge WILL be billed to your “friend’s” credit card. We encourage all our riders to drink responsibly, so hopefully there will be no accidental body fluids escaping.
Can I book the whole bus for an event?
Yes. We would love to talk with you about planning your event. Call us at (775) 335-2050 to talk about what we can do to make your event memorable.
Is tipping acceptable?
Yes! If you find your guide as exceptional as we do, please show your appreciation by leaving them with a tip.
